| Canadian housing starts trend lower in May |
| The trend in housing starts came in at 254,727 units in May, down from an April figure of 257,833 units, reports Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). The trend measure is a six-month moving average of the monthly seasonally adjusted annual rates (SAAR) of housing starts. |
